Tickets
Tickets can be purchased as follows:
AT THE TICKET OFFICE
Entry payable upon arrival, either in cash or by credit or debit card.
If you need an invoice, please contact the ticket office for details.
Upon arrival, the ticket office will check the exact number of visitors. After the visit, an invoice will be issued with all the relevant bank details for the bank transfer. A virtual stamp duty will be applied to invoices over €77.00.
ONLINE TICKETS
To avoid queues at the entrance, you can purchase your ticket for the visit to the Monastery and the Tempietto (also in combination with other museums in Cividale) through the online booking and ticketing system (Vivaticket service), which includes a €1 pre‑sale fee.

Visitors are welcome to take photographs and make audio/video recordings inside the Tempietto Longobardo and the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle for personal enjoyment and tourist purposes. The use of images for commercial purposes is not allowed.

Location
The Tempietto Longobardo and the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle are located in the south eastern part of the old town, Borgo Brossana, not far from one of its main gateways, Porta San Giovanni. Overlooking the left bank of the Natisone River, just above a natural slope, the Tempietto Longobardo is part of the ancient Monastery complex of Santa Maria in Valle. The whole area is shaped by river terraces and framed by the gentle hills that are emblematic of the Friulian Prealps area, offering a landscape where history and nature intertwine with remarkable harmony.
