Reserve the Venue for Public and Private Events
The Municipality of Cividale allows the premises of the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle to be used for private events such as civil wedding ceremonies or marriage vow renewals, as well as for events of outstanding cultural and tourist significance.
Civil Wedding Ceremonies

Events of Outstanding Cultural and Tourist Significance

Refectory Hall + Cloister (partial) + any additional ground floor rooms: € 850.00 + VAT;
Refectory Hall: € 450.00 + VAT;
Access outside regular opening hours - when the entire complex is closed to the public - as well as opening and closing services and on-site assistance, are provided by an external contractor and charged separately.
Where an event requires complex set-up works, we require a one-off security deposit of € 500.00 paid at least five days prior to use of the premises, in accordance with the applicable law. The deposit shall be refunded at the end of the event, subject to verification that the premises and furnishings have not been damaged.
Educational and Workshop Activities
The Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle and the Tempietto Longobardo offer a wide range of workshops and educational programmes for children, young people and students at all levels of education. These activities aim to foster an understanding of, and respect for, the protected cultural heritage, while supporting its promotion and enhancement.
